Fall Photo shoot
My "signature" is a sort of where is waldo hunt in my images. I always give the littles a finger puppet bubbles, or something to help them smile.. they always end up in the pictures.. I happen to think it adds to the charm…

7 tips for better Holiday Photos.
1. To avoid a double chin, stick your ears out, push your face forward a bit and tilt your chin down, a little bit of a turtle pose will do wonders.
2. If you tend to blink, close your eyes just before the picture and open the right before the camera shoots. NO more half closed eyes.
3. Angles, angles angles. Never take a shot straight on to the camera, it rarely looks good turn your body away from the camera then turn your face to the camera, bam you loose 10 lbs.
4. Never shoot in direct light, look for shade or turn your back from the light source. Even light always looks best.
5. Bright lipstick always.
6. No shiny make up. There is a reason that "photo finish" make up is matte.
7. If your taller than your photographer, sit down. Shots from above always look better.
---- This is where bullet point 7 comes in handy. I'm over 6 feet tall, check out my photos they are all slightly from above - just part of the magic.
Hope this helps! Happy holiday card making season.

You may ask yourself how on earth did she get 3 wiggily kiddos to smile and look at her at the same time. The answer is I didn't. I took 40 shots and picked the 3 best heads and did a photoshop masterpiece. This is not a photo rather a collage... but hey no one would ever know. Oh well except you, thanks for being 1 or 6 for reading my blog - sara waterman photography.
